Homeowners: if you contact a fencing contractor, your contractor is the Data Controller of your personal data. FenceSmartAI only processes it on their behalf.

  • Hosting is via Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud.

  • Data may be transferred to the USA under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK Addendum.

  • Analytics cookies may be used to understand site usage.

6. Retention

  • Website enquiries: up to 24 months after last contact.

  • Contractor accounts: for the duration of the contract, then deleted/anonymised within 90 days.

  • Logs/backups: short retention for security/continuity.
